Goodwill’s York County Jobs Alliance to Host David Lee

Presentation Open to Job Seekers in York County

Biddeford – The York County Jobs Alliance (YCJA) will host its first meeting of the fall season on Tuesday, September 6, from 9 to 11:30 am University College – Saco Island. David Lee, founder of Human Nature at Work, will deliver a presentation, How to Stay Positive, Upbeat and Energized During your Job Search and Upon Returning to Employment. The YCJA is a service offered by the Goodwill Workforce Solutions Center in Biddeford.  The group meets the first and third Tuesday of each month and is open to individuals residing in York County. The meetings provide a welcoming space for sharing ideas about employment through open discussion, networking and support.

Each meeting features a guest speaker from the local business and professional community, who offer career exploration tools and feedback to job seekers’ questions.  Past presenters include individuals from the Maine Department of Labor, Bonney Staffing, Southern Maine Medical Center, TD Bank, Northern York County YMCA and University College in Saco.
