Dear readers,
I’m excited to write our 100th blog post! We started this blog less than a year ago, and it has been a great journey and learning experience. We have lots of exciting events and additions planned for the blog in the upcoming year, so I look forward to your continued readership. THANK YOU to everyone who reads the blog, checks it out now and then, leaves comments, and retweets posts!
To celebrate this milestone, we are having a give-away (though I wish I could share this giant cupcake with everyone!). Please leave a
comment about why you enjoy shopping at Goodwill or share a treasure you have found at Goodwill, and you will be entered to win a Goodwill prize pack, including a mystery item and a $25 gift certificate that can be used at any of our northern New England stores.
Thank you for your support!

Why do I love Goodwill?? What’s not to love?? The prices, the variety, the serendipity and the recycling as well as the knowledge that we are putting people to WORK. And every time someone compliments me on my clothes I proudly say, “Goodwill!”
Two words: treasure hunting. You never know what you’re going to find and it’s always fun to look. I’m slowing rebuilding my wardrobe via Goodwill.
Goodwill is the only way to go – I’ve completely stopped shopping at other stores. This weekend I picked up an amazing Italian jacket at the Bangor Goodwill and a wonderful purple Coldwater Creek jacket for my mother. My first stop in Portland is Goodwill – these stores have come so far – clean, organized, friendly, very accessible – such a huge change from several years ago. Hurry up with the Ellsworth Goodwill – we are all very excited!
I love Goodwill because, by shopping there, I am helping people and they are helping me
