Here at Goodwill Industries of Northern New England we know the health of a community directly impacts the workforce. Simply put, healthy people are more likely to sustain long-term employment; the more access to healthcare we can provide is key.
Our Health Care Services address community needs that are increasing in the coming decades. An individual may need: a safe home, medical care, rehabilitation after trauma, or community support. These needs impact a person’s ability to secure and maintain employment, and this is especially true for people with disabilities.
In support of our mission and vision, we have been providing high quality healthcare services for people with deafness, mental illness, acquired brain injuries and intellectual disabilities for decades. Goodwill’s Health Care Services are made up of four program types:
- Residential Homes
- Lifeworks Programs
- Community Integration Services for the Deaf (CISD)
- NeuroRehabilitation Services
Each program meets specific community needs for targeted populations, while employing over 400 professionals who deliver health care services each day.
