Youth Programs

GoodGuidesTM

GoodGuidesTM is a new mentoring program that helps teens finish school and transition into the world of work through the guidance of trusted adults.

During the year-long mentorship, teens work with their mentors to build career plans and skills, and prepare for school completion, post-secondary training, and productive work. Mentors work with teens four hours each month on homework, job applications, resume writing, job interviews, and other tasks as needed.

Why is Goodwill offering this program?

Goodwill has a long history of helping people find work and eliminating barriers to opportunity and to independence. The GoodGuidesTM program helps youth receive the guidance and support needed to finish school and find meaningful employment.

Why should I sign up for GoodGuidesTM?

Getting involved in GoodGuidesTM is an opportunity for teens to get help with school work, receive guidance from a trusted adult, work with someone on career plans, and to have a resource for your school and employment questions. Your mentor will work with you to help you achieve your current and future goals.
