The Host Site application consists of an information page and a proposal. The proposal addresses basic information about your organization and plans for the AmeriCorps Member. It also requests information on the supervisory plan for the member. When completing the application please answer the questions as thoroughly as possible.

Emergency Response Corps Request for Proposals

Host Sites are local fire departments and ambulance services where AmeriCorps Members are stationed during their term of service. Host sites are chosen by a selection committee through a “Request for Proposal” (RFP) process. Potential sites submit a proposal describing the Member’s planned activities during their term of service including community outreach and volunteer recruitment projects. These proposals are thoroughly reviewed and sites are chosen. Examples of successful proposals are available for review.
