(Ok, I got the Shakespeare speak out of my system; by the way, does everyone know about Talk Like Shakespeare Day? Mark you calendars for April 23, 2010!)
If you are a rare book collector or enjoy musty old books like I do (or know someone who does), this is something that would make an amazing gift for oneself or a friend. The collection includes six Shakespeare plays (pub. 1918), in addition to three other titles from the 18th century (listed below). The books are published by the Knickerbocker Leather & Novelty Company - I could not find much information on them- if you know anything about this press, please let us know! All titles are bound in leather.

Taming of The Shrew
The Poetical Works of Robert Burns
Winnowings from Wordsworth by Nimmo Hay & Mitchell Edinburgh
The Songs and Ballards of Sir Walter Scott with his life by Rufus W Griswold
