What are your Back to School Finds?

calendar August 24th, 2010 posted by Michelle Smith (171 total)

Dear readers,

With many of us heading back to school in the next few weeks, there are many questions on our minds – what is the class schedule?  What do my kids need for winter?  Do I need new work clothes?  Goodwill offers clothing, accessories, and school supplies to help you be ready and look your best.

And that’s what we are wondering – what recent finds have you made for back to school?  What fall work outfits have you found?  Any early Halloween finds?  Any coats for winter? Send us a picture of your recent finds and we will share them all the blog.  We would love to have a fantastic collage of all our shoppers – please contact us if you have questions.

Dear readers,

Would you like to shop at four different Goodwill stores in one day? Now you can!  Join us for the second annual Goodwill Bus Tour on Saturday, May 8 at 8 am.  The tour starts at the new South Portland Goodwill store, heads to Augusta, Rockland, Topsham, and then returns to South Portland in the early evening.

Join us for a great day of shopping, raffles, and “tour only” dressing rooms and check out lines. We will even ship large items to your local Goodwill store. It’s a great opportunity to meet other Goodwill shoppers, learn about Goodwill’s mission, and find some fabulous deals!  Here are some of our tour-goers from last year!

The tour costs $45 and we encourage everyone to bring a bagged lunch.  For more information and to sign up, please contact Tour Busters at (207) 781-8896.
