Yes, you read that correctly!  Goodwill is hosting its first ever bus tour on Saturday, September 26.  Gear up for a day of bargain shopping, prizes, and an enjoyable ride through New England in the early autumn.

The tour begins at the Falmouth, Maine store at 8:00 am and continues to five other Goodwill stores throughout Maine and New Hampshire.  The bus will return to  Falmouth  at 7:00 pm.

While crusing from one location to another, there will be a bevy of give-aways and raffle prizes.  You will also have the chance to learn about Goodwill’s mission and how we use your amazing donations and purchases to fund our programs.

AND!  If you find an item too large to fit on the bus, say a fabulous dresser or couch, we will ship it to the Goodwill closest to you, so you can shop hindrance-free!  We will also have dressing rooms and check-out lines reserved especially for tour-goers, so you can breeze right through.

What a day! Goodwill had its grand opening of the Waterville store last Friday. The store was packed from open to close, the energy was positive, and we gave away some great prizes and a $100 gas card to one lucky winner! See what this one Waterville resident won in the raffle–and it just so happened to be her birthday!

The new store is located in the former Brooks Pharmacy building. The former pharmacy pick-up is now our donation drive-thru! The new space is nearly triple in size as the former location, but the convenience of an in-twon location with free parking will continue Goodwill’s contribution to the vibrancy of Waterville’s downtown economy.
