Favorite Finds: Holiday Shopping Miracle!
While most of my Goodwill trips revolve around shopping for myself, there are those rare days when I don’t find anything that suits me, but do score an awesome find for the boyfriend.
Of course this is only after I get over my initial disappointment of coming up empty handed. It is then that I peruse the men’s racks.
A recent favorite boyfriend purchase were brand new L.L.Bean Men’s™ Wicked Good® Slippers for $10! I couldn’t believe it! There was a whole rack full of them. It was a Holiday Shopping Miracle!
This was a huge find since I had been meaning to replace the boyfriend’s old pair that were about 15 years old, had slippery bottoms, matted interior shearling, and were growing mold. However, I could never bring myself to spend $59 on a pair of slippers. No problem, I didn’t have to! Another point for the Goodwill near Mill Creek in South Portland, Maine (this is where I found my fab Franco Sarto Wedges, remember?)
